Whether it be trying radical new processes, celebrating local produce in our culinary-inspired beers, or attempting perfection through more traditional styles, we are always challenging ourselves and pushing for creating amazing moments, flavors, textures, and stories. GREG FLEETHART

MASTER BREWER

With over a decade of professional brewing experience, Greg is the founding brewer and team leader of Precarious Beer Project. Greg brewed for 6 years in Washington state, honing technique and quality production practices. Precarious Beer Project’s small size and flexible system has allowed him to create more and more adventurous beers, constantly striving for improvement in quality and innovation. Greg loves drinking Pilsners, American Lagers, Bourbon, or Belgian style beers, the great outdoors, dad jokes, and spending time with his family.

MATT FANTZ

BREWER

Often referred to as, “hey you can put that keg in my truck!” Matt comes to Precarious with multiple years of brewing experience in Southern California and has won a GABF Gold for his previous team’s double IPA. He was voted, “Most Huggable” his Senior year. When at home Matt enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, sitting, eating poorly constructed burritos, sleeping, doing chores, drinking beer, and drinking not beer.

MEGAN WOOD

BREWER

A mystery shrouded in an enigma, cloaked in legend, wrapped in a conundrum, and boxed in a confusing metaphor, Brewer Megan Kersting comes to Precarious from Missouri. There she learned to brew on a 120 bbl brewing system at one of the best regarded breweries in the country, and while working graveyard shifts discovered her obsession with coffee. She may seem calm, but she's typically four cups of Costa Rican drip deep. She has a passion for elegance in flavor and balance in her brewing style, and if you hear music coming from the brewery that you don't recognize, it's most likely Megan spinning some deep tracks of an artist that is so cool they don't even exist yet. When she gets a day off she spends it with her pets and her husband exploring their new home of Virginia.
